Abstract :
Electrical energy distribution in big cities such as Jakarta currently just use 20 Kv feeder, spindle or radial. There is increase in load that has happened for years so that the load continues to rise. Thus, using 20 kV feeder faces the problem of excessive voltage loss that can be more than 5%. In the other hand, GI 150/20 kV development or SKTM network development have obstacles in land equitation. This research conducted the study to solve the problem by developing 70 kV power line by using literature review method. 70 kV power line can be used with air duct, using concrete pillars so that there will not be the problem of land acquisition. 70 kV power line just produces the loss of 0,258% voltage. Developing 70 kV system can be conducted by GH land intensification becomes GIS 70/20 kV and adds trafo IBT 150/70 kV 60 MVA, to increase the quality of electric energy supply and increase installed capacity.
