Abstract :
Electrical energy is needed by both urban and rural communities. Power outage will disrupt the ongoing activities especially during the night. So the authors do the planning of a simple power plant to help supply electricity at home. The load to be supplied from solar energy is a load of 15 lamps 7 W, 21" television 100 W, 350 W iron and rice cooker to be used at night. Therefore the system will use the battery because solar power station only supplies electricity during the day. The daily load consumption is 2204 Wh then the required module with a capacity of 900 Wp, 306,1 Ah 24 V battery, inverter 24 V 1282,5 W and solar charge controller 45 A 24 V. The module's orientation will be south-facing and the control room is placed adjacent to the solar module circuit. For the cost of installing a solar power plant is Rp47.390.333,00.
