Abstract :
Indonesia has a large potential of renewable energy sources. Among these energy sources, solar energy includes an unlimited energy source and is most widely used as a source of energy to generate electricity. In building a solar power plant On Grid with a capacity of 1 Megawatt in Kutabumi Tangerang required a maximum design technique, so that this system can support electricity needs in Kutabumi Tangerang. To be able to design PLTS On Grid in need a special type of inverter called Grid Tied Inverter. The function of Grid Tied Inverter (GTI) is able to convert DC voltage into AC voltage connected with PLN power grid. In this thesis the author designed PLTS On Grid by using PVsyst and Simulink (Matlab) applications. In the calculation of Performance Ratio (PR) in this PLTS system as a reference that the system is feasible to be realized where the value of its PR is 79,98%. By using the economic aspect analysis can be obtained the cost of energy generated, based on the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV) the results can be as much as Rp 2.317.275.710 and Profitability Index (PI) with a value of 1.12.
