Abstract :
Electrification ratio in Indonesia only reached about 90%, and there are about 10% of Indonesia's population who have not enjoyed electricity. To achieve 100% electrification ratio there are difficulties or constraints to reach remote areas far from PLN network. The solution to this is to convert sunlight into electrical energy by using photovoltaic technology that can also be a solution for areas already supplied with electricity from PLN, but many things are experiencing a power outage as a result of the lack of power supplied to the electrical receptacle. In other words PLTS users here will also be useful for the provision of power to consumers with the time of the electricity begins at the sun shines on the earth. In this thesis also calculate how long refund cost by looking at the initial investment, and the length of return generated under 8 years. The units used for Household namely Social Home Systems (SHS). The results and this thesis could be a reference for anyone who will do Solar Home System for household planning.
