Abstract :
Quality improvement of PT.PLN (Persero) service needs to go upwards overtime to match the satisfaction of consumers. However, in reality electrical power system is vulnerable to interferences that cause power distribution turns into partial or total cessation. More often than not, the occurrence of electrical interferences in distribution system is caused by the lack of reliability, sensitivity, selectivity, and responsiveness of protection system. The responsiveness and sensitiveness of protection system equipments in handling interferences is adjustable from GF and OC relay protection setting in CBO that is used for signal pulses transmitter towards PMT to break the network. In this research will be discussed about resetting the relay at the CBO and calculations that exist on the Tuak feeder in the substation Cengkareng. From resetting again it is found that the relay result of the calculation setting can work a little bit great than the result of the reality setting. From the above data calculation results obtained relay time setting value on the outgoing side of the repeater is 0,7 seconds with the value of TMS is 0,43. While on the side of cubicle CBO obtained setting time relay is 0,29 seconds with TMS 0,18. This value proves the relay work on CBO cubicles faster than the reloading outgoing work of the feeder.
