Abstract :
The International Airport Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta is a public service location, which has business value and strategic industry value as an air transportation supporter, has a building navigation system from aircraft control radio, and the location of the building is located prominently and far apart from the buildings in the vicinity, it becomes very important to set a good lightning protection system. Author use the method protection of angle and method electrogeometric by adding the amount of finial or even by adding a finial length. Results for the protection of angle method by increasing the number of finial on the ATC tower of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport required addition of 8 lightning finial, 7 m long with a protection of angle by 25 ° and radius of protection reaching at 30,776 m. The result for the protection of angle method by adding the finial length is 28 m with the protection of angle by 25 ° and the protection radius reach at 43.66 m. The use of electrogeometric method by increasing the number of finial At ATC Tower Soekarno-Hatta International Airport obtained by adding 7 of lightning finial that is 8 finial now, with length is 5 m and protection of angle by 43,9 ° with protection radius at 155,24 m . The use of electrogeometric method by addition of the finial length is obtained by adding length become to 15 m and a protection of angle by 41° with a protection radius at 162.47 m.
