Abstract :
In the operation of distribution system the voltage value at each point of the line must meet the standard of voltage quality where the operation voltage (V) is limited by SPLN No 01 of 1995 which is +5% and -10% of nominal voltage. Based on RUPTL 2015-2025 there is an increase of burden every year at PT PLN persero Cikokol area,the reviewed data is the line of Kompor in 2021 where voltage drop value before the changes were made was 1407.8573 Volt or 7.57%. The improvements of voltage drop value were done by installing the 2000 kVAr capacitor on KC58 distribution station. After the installation of the capacitor there is a decrease of voltage drop value from 7.57% or 1407.8573 Volt to 3.46% or 668 Volt.
