Abstract :
A distribution system is particularly vulnerable to disruption due to its large and close proximity to the consumer. In the distribution system, medium voltage networks have an important role in power distribution. In fact, interference often occurs in medium voltage networks. This disorder can cause damage to electrical equipment causing disruption of the continuity of a distribution system. To overcome this required an effective protection system. Effective protection system has several conditions that are fast, selective, sensitive, and reliable so as to eliminate and reduce the impact of the disturbance. Medium voltage distribution protection system consists of overcurrent relay and ground disturbance relay as medium voltage protection network. In this thesis will be discussed about the coordination of existing releases on the Martyr repeaters in the substation Petukangan. From the coordination it is found that the Relay Circuit Breaker Outgoing works faster than the outgoing relay and faster than the incoming feeder.
