Abstract :
Reduced supply of electrical energy in Indonesia, becomes a problem in human life, because electricity is very important for human life, to reduce the shortage of electricity supply, the use of renewable energy is very important, such as utilizing PLTS development. And in this case the utilization of the installation of the PLTS will be done on a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) located on Tunda Island, where the island is experiencing shortage of electricity supply from PLN, because in Tunda island PLN only have a number of PLTS, and only work for 9 hours, And a BTS is a system that works to provide information signals that work for 24 hours, because is not in accordance with the length of work process of a BTS, the existing base stations in the Tunda island Using Genset itself. Therefore, in this thesis will be discussed about PLTS development plan by using Off Grid system at BTS, It aims to provide a new innovation for a base station, by calculating an accurate calculation to determine the ideal photovoltaic system, by calculating the performance Ratio Of the PLTS system to be performed, and calculate from the economic side of the Cost when using PLTS by using Genset.
