Abstract :
The island of Lombok recently built 3 solar power plants with a capacity of 7 MW each. The 3 Solar Power Plants are Sengkol Solar Power Plant on grid with Sengkol Substation of 20 KV, Selong Solar Power Plant on grid with Paok Motong Substation of 20 kV and Pringgabaya Solar Power Plant on grid with Pringgabaya Substation of 20 kV. With the inclusion of 3 Solar Power Plant, it is necessary to study the effect of installing the 3 of them. This thesis aims to determine the performance of electric power systems, namely active and reactive power flow and the voltage profile of each bus in the system and load transformer. Power flow simulations are performed using version 12.6.0 of the Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) software. This thesis was carried out in the Department of Electrical Engineering with the object of research is the Lombok electrical system. The results of the analysis show that after installation of 3 PLTS the active power flow and reactive power flowing on the SENGKOL bus 1 installation point of the Sengkol PLTS has increased by 0.047 MW and 0.018 Mvar. Active power flow and reactive power flowing on the PAOKMOTONG bus 1 installation point for the Selong PLTS has increased by 0.196 MW and 0.021 Mvar. Active power flow and reactive power flowing on the PRINGGABAYA bus 1 installation point of the Pringgabaya PLTS has increased by 0.318 MW and 0.042 Mvar. The biggest power drop is on the Paokmotong PLTD bus which is on bus 174 of 1.541 MW and 0.299 Mvar. For bus voltage profiles, the greatest repair of stress on SENGKOL 1 bus is 0.053 kV, with a percentage increase in voltage of 0.265% of the nominal voltage. For transformer loading, the largest decrease occurred in the Sengkol transformer (T Sengkol) of 11.7%.
