Abstract :
In the process of channeling / delivering electricity to the customer there are technical losses, namely the loss of power and the shrinking of energy. Power losses are the power lost due to the power that is generated but unused. While the shrinkage of energy is the amount of energy in kWh that is lost / shrunk, occurs due to technical and non technical factors at the time of supply and distribution of energy. The energy losses on technical factors arise from the presence of resistance in the elements of the current-carrying distribution network, giving rise to energy in the form of heat. While the shrinkage of energy on non technical is more caused by the influence of external distribution systems such as electricity theft, meter read errors and errors of measurement tools. This research will discuss the shrinkage of low-voltage network energy in the TG277 repeater dispersive substation Simpuh in PT PLN (Persero) Banten distribution area cikokol. It aims to find out the value of low voltage network shrinkage is the shrinkage of energy and loss of power as a consideration in the planning and operation of low voltage networks and improve the quality of power and energy channeled to customers. After analyzed, the substation TG277 repeater Distribution Simpuh obtained the loss of power of 6.52% and the shrinkage of energy by 0.17083%.
