Abstract :
Waste is always be a serious problem in every region in Indonesia, included Klungkung district. That is why electrical energy from waste (PLTSa) developed. Municipal waste process method (TOSS) with local government collaboration as a decision maker and villager as a raw material supplier, can be a solution to manage the municipal waste as alternative energy. The design of 500 Kw PLTSa at Klungkung, Bali, use gasification technology. The result of calculation and design the approximate potential of waste in Klungkung is about 73.500 Kg waste produced per day, that can be converted as fuel in the form of waste pellets, about
61.189 Kg/day. Compared with gasification technology, Trillion Gasifier (TG 180). Three units of Trillion Gasifier need 10.830,672 Kg waste pellets/day. Waste pellets production will be use as a fuel in gasification reactor to generate the
electrical energy through generator with capacity 510 Kw and gas as a fuel. And then the waste pellets production also can be use a mixture of coal fuel in PLTU. Base on economic analysis, PLTSa in Klungkung is feasible to develop, because
the result of calculation from economic analysis meet the requirements.
