Abstract :
PT.KAI Commuter Jabodetabek engaged in the transportation of electric train. To design the electrical installation on the railway train at PT. KAI Commuter Jabodetabek, thing to note is the condition of the working environment of the electric train. The choice of propulsion system on the right choice electric train according to the desired load characteristics will provide good working efficiency of the traction motor. In addition, the use of equipment must also be in accordance with its function. Then to keep the human and the equipment from the danger caused, the design of the electrical installation must meet the requirements of K3 and PUIL. All installation equipment must be in good condition, meet the applicable standards, should not be burdened beyond the work function of the equipment. In addition it must be capable of flowing short circuit current less than one second. For that need, to be done electrical installation design on electric rail in PT.KAI Commuter Jabodetabek is necessary.
