Abstract :
Paving blocks are building materials that have been widely known by the community and are often used as one of the layers of pavement on the ground. Utilization of cane ash waste is only as fertilizer by local farmers and has not been used optimally. Other than that, paving block waste is not employed working result in jl. Puri Kembangan produces waste in the form of used paving which is used for landfill. In this research, the making of paving blocks using sugar cane ash and paving waste as a substitute for some cement and some sand. The composition of the ingredients for making paving blocks is 1 (cement) with 4 (sand). The composition of sugar cane ash as a substitute for cement is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of 100% cement. The composition of paving waste as a substitute for sand is 10% of 100% sand. Tests were carried out for 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. Based on the test results obtained the optimum compressive strength at the percentage of 10% mixture of sugarcane ash waste + 10% paving block waste with compressive strength of 19.3 Mpa and fulfilling quality B is used as a parking
