Abstract :
Circuit Breaker (CB) or Power Breaker (PMT) is a power protection system, capable of closing, draining and breaking the load current under normal conditions and able to close, drain (within a certain period of time) and break the load current in specific abnormal conditions or interference such as short circuit.In breaking the noise current, PMT works according to the capacity to break the noise current. The disturbance current may not be greater than the capacity of the PMT. Some types or kinds of short-circuit interference in the electrical system can occur between phase (3 phase or 2 phase) or between phase and ground. In this thesis discuss about the determination of determination of specification of power breaker (PMT) on IBT 1 500 kV which will be built in GI Duri kosambi.
