Abstract :
In the progress of massive transportation on railways, locomotives are used. The mover of locomotives are traction motors. Electrical power as the energy supply for electric train at Soekarno ? Hatta Airport could be provided by PLN grid. With a massive load, a massive initial torque is also needed. Therefore, to reach the desirable speed and the comfortness of the passengers a speed setting on KRL motor mover is needed. Ergo, surgical system of electrical power supply si needed. DC electrification is an electrification that is used at this Indonesia electrical railways. The power is supplied from a power plant that is then transmitted to ultra high voltage 500 kV substation that is then transmitted to high voltage substation to step the voltage down to 150 kV that is then reduced to 20 kV (AC). This 20 kV AC voltage will be reduced to 1200 VAC and will be directed by the converter to become 1500 VDC, that later will be transmitted by LAA
