Abstract :
Electric power is currently one of the main necessity , therefore the electricity supply must be available economically by taking into account the quality either the voltage or electric current and its frequency and also reliability. The electricity system can not be separated from short circuit fault which might result interference in electricity supply to the customer. So that it is required a protection coordination on the incoming and outgoing side. The protection coordination shall include protection tools selection and determining time setting to decide the protection area as a result of short circuit fault. The benefit of protection coordination are minimize the time and disrupting area so that the disturbance occurs can be handle quickly and not spreading to the other area which are not affected with this disturbance. This research will discuss on the result of protection coordination at incoming and outgoing side as a result of biomass powered electricity to suplai GI satui in south Kalimantan. Reconfiguration OCR GFR relay because the amount of short-circuit current that occurs during the feeder increases when the biomass powerplant into the network side of 20 kV.
