Abstract :
The quality of electrical feeder reliability can be seen from the duration of blackout and how often it occurs within a certain time. The reliability index is the reliability measure expressed in the probability. The level of reliability of a system can be determined by computing System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) and System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI). The objective of this research is to compute the reliability index of 20 kV medium-voltage network of The Krapyak 03 feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Semarang Barat. The Krapyak 03 feeder has an air duct power line type, 22,308 customers and the length is 10,968 ms. With these three classifications, The Krapyak 03 feeder is often subject to power failure. The reliability index can be calculated using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Based on the calculation result, the SAIDI and SAIFI value of The Krapyak 03 feeder were obtained. With the result of these two parameters, it can be concluded that the feeder is categorized to have good reliability level.
