Abstract :
Trombositopenia is a condition when the trombosite is in a circulating system under normal range
(150.000 ? 350.000/ul of blood). Trombositopenia is effects from many things, like a malfunctions of
trombosite production, increases trombosite consumption,, abnormal trombosite distribution, and lost
as a result of dilution effects. Plant of guava leaves (Psidium Guajava L) and the purple sweet potato
leaves (Ipomoea Batatas L) have a contains active substances who helps increases amount of trombosite
in the blood, that is flavonoid compounds, alkaloid, polyphenols and tannins. The purpose of this
research is to find out the effects of the combination of boiled water from guava leaves (Psidium Guajava
L) with sweet potato leaves (Ipomoea Batatas L) for increasing amount of trombosite in mice (Mus
Musculus L). this research is experimental study using male mice Swiss Webster as a sample.
Combination of boiled water from guava leaves with sweet potato leaves as a natural ingredients in
increasing the trombosite amount in mice, with 3 doses variations. Doses I 15% (39 mg/weight of mice),
Doses 2 20% (52 mg/ weight of mice), and Doses 3 25% (65 mg/weight of mice) as much as 0,5 ml. In a
groups of positive control given the drug trolit at a dose of 10,4 mg/ weight of mice as much as 0,3 ml.
And in a groups of negative control only given a aquadest. Examination and calculation of trombosite
counts is carried out directly by the tube method (Brecker-Cronkite). Based on research result from all
variations in the dose of boiled water from guava leaves with sweet potato leaves can increase the
number of trombosite cells. Average increase in number of trombosite in Doses I (259.000 cells/mm3
increase be 640.000 cells/mm3
), Doses II (261.000 cells/mm3
increase be 650.000 cells/mm3
), and Doses
III (265.000 cells/mm3
increase be 690.600 cells/mm3
). Data statistic analysis of One Way Anova
obtained significant result with P < 0,05.

Trombositopenia merupakan keadaan dimana trombosit dalam sistem sirkulasi jumlahnya dibawah
normal (150.000-350.000/ul darah). Trombositopenia disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, yaitu kegagalan
produksi trombosit, peningkatan konsumsi trombosit, distribusi trombosit abnormal, dan kehilangan
akibat dilusi. Tanaman daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava L) dan daun ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas
L) mengandung zat aktif yang dapat membantu meningkatkan jumlah trombosit dalam darah, yaitu
senyawa flavonoid, alkaloid, polifenol dan tannin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
pengaruh dari kombinasi air rebusan daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava L) dengan daun ubi jalar ungu
(Ipomoea batatas L) terhadap peningkatan jumlah trombosit pada mencit (Mus musculus L). penelitian
ini bersifat eksperimen menggunakan mencit jantan galur swiss Webster sebagai sampel, kombinasi air
rebusan daun jambu biji dengan daun ubi jalar ungu sebagai bahan alami dalam meningkatkan jumlah
trombosit pada mencit, dengan 3 variasi dosis. Dosis I 15% (39 mg/BB mencit), dosis II 20% (52 mg/BB
mencit ), dan dosis III 25 % (65 mg/BB mencit) sebanyak 0,5 ml. Pada kelompok kontrol positif
diberikan obat trolit dengan dosis 10,4 mg/BB mencit sebanyak o,3 ml dan pada kelompok kontrol
negatif hanya diberikan aquadest. Pemeriksaan dan perhitungan jumlah trombosit dilakukan dengan cara
langsung dengan menggunakan metode tabung (Brecker-Cronkite). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian semua
variasi dosis kombinasi air rebusan daun jambu biji dengan daun ubi jalar ungu dapan meningkatkan
jumlah sel trombosit. Rerata peningkatan jumlah trombosit pada dosis I (259.000 sel/mm3 menjadi
640.000 sel/mm3
) dosis II (261.000 sel/mm3 menjadi 650.000 sel/mm3
) dan dosis III (265.000 sel/mm3
menjadi 690.600 sel/mm3
) . Analisis data statistik One Way Anova didapatkan hasil signifikan dengan
nilai P<0,05.
