Abstract :
In education field, all students are faced with new habits in the implementation of the
teaching and learning process in schools. Schools no longer hold face-to-face meetings
but online . This habit is not as easy as we imagine, although in general students have
been trained with online activities outside of school hours.
The difficulty that most often arises is providing motivational habituation to students
in doing assignments and questions in accordance with the theory conveyed by the
teacher in the application of the Google Classroom application. The purpose of this
study was to determine the extent to which the perceptions of students and teachers in
using the Google Classroom application as an application during the pandemic period
were easier and had complete learning facilities.
In this study, the research form is a qualitative description based on data in the form of
field notes, questionnaires and observations about the students and teachers preception
toward implications of using Google Classroom during online learning.
Based on the data that has been prepared by the researcher, it can be concluded that the
use of Google Classroom is very helpful in the online learning process. Students can
access the Google Classroom app at home and do assignments, answer quizzes and
questions at home. In addition, teachers and students also have new habits, namely
communicating and collaborating learning through online.
