Abstract :
Republika is one of the Islamic newspaper in Indonesia which have
Islamic value more than any newspapers. Most of Islamic newspaper have aim to
give voice to Muslim and their views especially in Ramadhan 1434 H (8 July – 7
August 2013). One of the column inside there called „opinion column‟ is one of
the way to spread out the idea from society. This phenomenon is linear with the
objectification of Prophetic Social Science (Ilmu Sosial Profetik) who said that
the Holy Book (wahyu Tuhan) must be integrated with human sciences and arts.
This research is titled “Nilai Profetik dalam Media Massa (Analisis Isi
Opini Harian Republika Periode Ramadhan 1434 H) and using quantitative
content analysis method. The data was taken with documentation of 48 opinion
articles from Republika newspaper during Ramadhan 1434 H and others
significant documents. The analysis unit was breakdown from three elements of
„Ilmu Sosial Profetik‟; humanitation („title selection‟, „diction‟); liberation („the
opinion author‟, „opinion content‟, „opinion theme‟, „opinion target‟); and
transendention (value or message which linier with Al-Quran and Hadist).
The result is Republika have prophetic value in 48 opinion articles
during Ramadhan 1434 H. All of analysis units are reliable with most minor
reability number is 0,79167. The chi quadrat calculation have number 0,14286,
so the H1 hipotesis accepted. All of the unit analysis have 70 % (0,7) frequention
of prophetic value except the analysis unit of transendention (value or message
which linier with Al-Quran and Hadist) which got number 49 % for prophetic
value. In fact, because the number less than 70 % so this one was not linear
appopriate the limit, although there was another propethic value inside. In
addition, Republika should improve their selection about the issued opinion which
have more Islamic value and also avoid with arabic phrases which can confuse
the readers who do not know arabic well. Its better to use universal phrases and
be more easily understood by the common readers.
