Abstract :
This thesis is about the role of SMANJA radio station to improve students fluency in speaking skill at SMA Nurul Jadid. The purposes of this research are to analyze of SMANJA radio station used in SMA Nurul Jadid. The problems are to know the role of SMANJA radio, the students problems and responses about SMANJA radio. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The researcher uses qualitative data from observation, interview, test and questionnaire. The instruments of this research are observation guideline, interview guide, questionnaire and test. The result of analysis shows that the teacher uses SMANJA radio station as one of media to improve the students communication skill especially in broadcast and pers. So, the students can practice their English easily. Also, the teacher gives a program listening to native speakers. This program can exercise the students English skill so they will express their feeling in English easily.
