ABSTRACT
IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND RESULTS OF THE
SUBJECT OF MAT
HEMATICS
USING DEMONSTRATION IN THE
CLASS IV CAPE SD STATE SUPREME
DISTRICT PADANG
CERMIN
PESAWARAN DISTRICT

The aim, in this classroom action research aims to determine the increase in
activity and student learning outcomes in
mathematics by using demonstration.
The samples, which were taken in the study of this class action is a fourth grade
students of SD Negeri Padang Cape Supreme Mirror Pesawaran, totaling 28
people, consisting of 17 men and 11 women.
Techniques used in the
method of data collection formative test results and
observations. While the research instrument using a written test. Analysis of the
data used in this study is a qualitative analysis.
The results showed that in the first cycle of activity either 32.14% s
tudents,
student learning outcomes 46.43% completed, the second cycle of student activity
both
57,14% student learning outcomes
60.71% completed, and the third cycle of
student activity either 85, 71%, completeness student learning outcomes increased
to 8
2.14% with an average value of 68.03.
Based on the data analysis and discussion of this study it can be concluded that
the implementation of the demonstration method can improve th
e activity and
student learning
outcomes.
