Abstract :
ABSTRAK Erosi merupakan salah satu permasalahan di DAS Sekampung. Peningkatan laju erosi akan meningkatkan jumlah sedimen yang masuk ke sungai. Keberadaan DAS Sekampung cukup penting di Provinsi Lampung, karena digunakan sebagai sumber irigasi pertanian, PLTA (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air) serta direncanakan pula sebagai air baku PDAM Way Rilau (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum), untuk kebutuhan masyarakat Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menduga besarnya erosi yang terjadi di DAS Sekampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode yaitu SDR (Sediment Delivery ratio) dan metode USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) yang dihitung dengan bantuan SIG (Sistem Informasi Geografi). Besarnya erosi dengan metode SDR sebesar 58,49 ton/ha/th, sedangkan pendugaan erosi dengan metode USLE sebesar 145,27 ton/ha/th. Kata kunci : DAS Sekampung, Erosi, Sedimen, USLE. . The Sekampung Watershed was important in Lampung Province, because its used as a source of agricultural irrigation, hydropower (Hydroelectric Power Plant) and planned as raw water by PDAM Way Rilau (Regional Water Company), to fulfill the need of fresh water in Bandar Lampung city. This research aimed to estimate the erosion in Sekampung Watershed, with two methods. Which were SDR (Sediment Delivery ratio) and USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) that were calculated using GIS (Geographic Information Systems). The estimation of erosion using SDR method was 58.49 tons/ha/yr. Meanwhile estimation of erosion by USLE method was 145.27 tons/ha/yr. Keywords: Erosion, Sediment, USLE, Watershed of Sekampung.
