Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis dan dosis pupuk kandang terhadap produktivitas hijauan sorgum. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Januari ? April 2017 di Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) petak terbagi. Faktor yang diteliti adalah (1) jenis pupuk, yang terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu K1 (pupuk kandang kotoran sapi); K2 (pupuk kandang kotoran kambing); dan K3 (pupuk kandang kotoran ayam) dan (2) dosis pupuk yang terdiri dari empat taraf, yaitu R0 (0 ton/ha); R1 (15 ton/ha); R2 (20 ton/ha); dan R3 (25 ton/ha). Setiap unit perlakuan percobaan berupa petak lahan berukuran 2x1,8 m2. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam pada taraf nyata 5% dan atau 1%, lalu hasil berbeda nyata di uji lanjut menggunakan Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk kandang berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produksi segar, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap jumlah anakan serta proporsi batang dan daun. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa jenis pupuk kandang tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap produksi segar, jumlah anakan, serta proporsi batang dan daun.

This research aims to know the effect of type and dose of manure on productivity of forage sorghum. This research was conducted on January?April 2017 at Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. The study was done based on Completely Randomized Design (CRD) split plot design with 3 replications. Factors studied were (1) manure types, consisting of three levels, namely K1 (cow dung manure); K2 (goat's dung manure); and K3 (chicken manure) and (2) dose of manure, consisting of four levels, namely R0 (0 tons/ha); R1 (15 ton/ha); R2 (20 tonnes/ha); and R3 (25 ton/ha. Each experimental treatment unit is plots of land measuring 2x1,8 m2. Obtained data were analyzed with the assumptions of variance by 5% or 1%, then the result were significantly different in the advanced test using Least Significant Different (LSD). Results showed that doses of manure very significantly affected (P<0,01) fresh production, but did not significantly affect (P>0,05) number of tillers and proportion of stems and leaves. Result also showed that manure type did not significantly affect (P>0,05) fresh production, number of tillers, and proportion of stems and leaves.
