Abstract :
Trans Jogja is a public transport facility in special region of Yogyakarta that was formed based on partnership between local government special region of Yogyakarta and PT. Jogja Tugu Trans. It provides road transport facility in special region of Yogyakarta with predetermined route. The purpose of establishing Trans Jogja by local government special regions of Yogyakarta is to create a public service that brings great benefits in road transport. Trans Jogja was formed by local government special region of Yogyakarta since 2007 because Yogyakarta was a city with rapid population growth also is a favorite destination for tourist both from Indonesia or foreign. In the beginning Trans Jogja was very consistently providing good service. Until now, reduction in Trans Jogja service provided was perceived by service user (customer), even cause cases which is caused damages for service user (customer). Based on cooperation agreement between local government special region of Yogyakarta and PT. Jogja Tugu Trans have agreed that compensation of services user (customer) is charged to PT. Jogja Tugu Trans. Operationally, PT.Jogja Tugu Trans is the main operator of Trans Jogja that responsible for all operation and local government provide supervision authority to department of transportation. Compensation payment procedure from Trans Jogja management was accordance with the law of customer protection and the law of traffic and road transport which is compensation will be given by regard to error element that who cause the damages. This is accordance liability based on risk principle.
