Abstract :
In this study the present researcher was focused on finding difficulties and solutions in learning English Listening Skill for the second semester of EFL Learners of Hamzanwadi University. The present researcher used case study approach. The data was collected by using questionnaire and interview among 10 students of English Education Department. The present researcher found there were 6 of difficulties faced by the students those were (1) the lack of vocabulary, (2) difficulties to understand the speaker’s pronunciation because it was unclear, (3) lost concentration because recording was in poor quality, (4) difficulties to understand well because the speakers speak too fast, (5) difficult to understand a listening text which have difficult grammatical structure, (6) difficult to understand listening text in which there were too many unfamiliar words. Based on the data above, it can be concluded there were 6 difficulties faced by students in learning English listening skill. The present researcher have 4 solutions to solve students’ problems in English listening skill those were students must try to focus while listening, student must be more concentration when listening to the recording, try to memorize new words and study more by watching movie or listening to English songs.
