Abstract :
This research entitled semiotics in Wasiat Renungan Masa work Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. The purpose of this research is to clarification semiotic shape, study meanin and message contained in semiotic reference which there is on poem stanza Wasiat Renungan Masa with semiotic. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data source of this research is on poem stanza Wasiat Renungan Masa. The set of stanza amount 233 stanzas. Data in this research have the shape of animal semiotic, the object contained, semiotic culture sing and place inside of Wasiat Renungan Masa work Muhammad Zainuddin. Data collecting on this research is documentation method, base on data Wasiat Renungan Masa. Data validation method used reading technique repeatedly and discussion. Analysis data method make use descriptive method and implementation of research use deductive minded structure. Procedure of research divided into data collection reduction, data serving and create data conclusion of research. Base on analysis data, we can concloudethis research have semiotic (sing) shape on Wasiat Renungan Masa which focus on animal semiotic, object semiotic, culture sing semiotic and place semiotic. The kind of animal semiotic are ferret, bear, bird and prawn. While the kind of object semiotic are book, money, chair, bed, plate, gold, silver, diamond, bullet, stone and pipe. Culture sing semiotic include porcelain, king and hultah. Place semiotic include Maringkik, Rinjani and Selaparang. Keywords: semiotics, signs of shape, meaning, moral vallue, poem.
