Abstract :
This study aims to determine the ability of teachers MTs district of Aikmel
assess affective aspects in the Indonesian language lesson in the school year
2017/2018. The type of research used in the research is descriptive research. The
subjects of the study were Indonesian teachers selected by purposive sampling or
purposed samples. And the object of this study is the assessment in the affective
domain of students. The results showed that teachers in assessing affective
domain did not make appropriate indicators according to Operational Verb
(KKO), the assessment also did not pay attention to SK-KD and affective domain
characteristics. So it is advisable to provide an affective field assessment that is
using non-test assessments, in this study suggested is to use a questionnaire to
measure all the characteristics of the affective sphere of attitude, interest, selfconcept, values and morals. The conclusion that can be drawn from the result of
this research is that the whole instrument of affective domain appraisal is good
and can be used as an evaluation tool in the affective domain by the teacher.
Suggestions that can be submitted based on this research, for Indonesian teachers
who want to develop an affective domain appraisal instrument should be
considered difficulty in the preparation of instruments. For the school or MGMP,
to provide training in the development of an affective domain appraisal
instrument. While to students should be more honest again in giving feedback on
affective assessment.
