Abstract :
Speech act in speak to the politeness it is a set of rules of conduct established and agreed upon by a particular community. Speech act in speak to the politeness on activities of buying and selling at the traditional market at Tanjung studied with pragmatic reviews. The scope of this study focused on the maxim of policy, acceptance, generosity, humility, agreement and conclusions. The aim of this study is to describe the maxim of language politeness in process selling and buying transactions in traditional market at tanjung. The method used in this study is the determination of research subject or general description of study includes the location of the study, data and data source. This method of collection used the method of observation, interview, and record the data used qualitative descriptive. base on the method of analyzing this study can be observed about the maxim of politeness as benchmark of language politeness in intracting with the seller in traditional market at tanjung kecamatan labuhan haji Lombok timur. Base on conducted the data analysis, researcher could taken conclusions that the communication made by the sellers and buyers has been fairly polite, because the longer one’s speech the greater the politeness that is done by the opponent their said. This can be seen from the speech acts of language speech in the selling and buying activities in traditional market at tanjung kecamatan Labuhan Haji.
