Abstract :
This study analyzed the students’ problems in developing writing narrative text. The research design was qualitative descriptive. The research data were collected by using interview, test, and observation. The objective of this research was the student in the third semester of Hamzanwadi University. The result showed that grammar, vocabularies and spelling and complication and resolution were the problem in developing writing narrative text. There were varieties factors of the problems happen such as the students rarely to practice writing and less read English book. There were varieties ways of the students in developing their writing narrative text such as read novel, practice writing. Key words: students’ problems, developing, writing, narrative text
