Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to determine the procession and community views about batu pampang myths and an objective picture of the myths of the Sumbaw community, especially in Emang Lestari Village. To find out how the views of the Village of Emang Lestari so that until now they still maintain their ancestral beliefs, namely the vows carried out in batu pampang. The methodology of this research was a qualitative with a descriptive approach. The source of the data obtained came from the people of Emang Lestari Village by collecting data on observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research are related to the myth of batu pampang as one of the local beliefs of the community in Emang Lestari Village. There are two views on batu pampang myths where most of the older people who believed in batu pampang myths and some who do not believed in batu pampang myth are dominated by educated people.
