ABSTRACT Asri Handayani, 2017The Effect of Pair Check Method and Time Token Method on Student Achievement of Class V PAI at SDN Sekecamatan Ceper, Klaten Lesson Year 2016/2017, Thesis: Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Surakarta. Advisor: Dr. Retno Wahyuningsih, S.Si., M. Pd Keywords: Pair Check Method and Time Token Method, Learning Achievement, PAI The problem in this study is the low achievement of students in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education using the lecture method in the learning process. The way taken by researchers to solve the problem is by applying the method of pair check and time token method in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences and improvements in student achievement. The population in this research is SDN Sekecamatan Ceper, Klaten of academic year 2016/2017 with number of 100 students. The sample in this research is using cluster sampling. In this study randomized is the school, so obtained three schools to be sampled. Two schools were used for the experimental class and one was used for the control class. This study used posstest only design with one-way analysis of variance followed by scheffe test to know the difference of the groups. From the analysis result, it can be concluded that: (1) Learning achievement after treatment of pair checkter method included in medium category with mean value 82,83 and standard deviation 6,029. (2) Learning achievement after being given treatment with time tokenter method included in medium category with mean value 82,5 and standard deviation 7,340. (3) Learning achievement after being given treatment with lecture method included in medium category with having mean value 74 and standard deviation 8,16. (4) There are differences in student achievement anatara using pair check method, time token method and lecture method with the value of F 13.356. Based on result of hypothesis test showed that there are difference of treatment result by using pair check posstes method which showed by significant value (0,7754)> 0,05. The results also showed that there were differences of treatment result by using time token method shown with significant value (156,89). In contrast to control classes treated only by lecture method is indicated by significant value (179,73)> 0,05. Based on the significant value of the variable that has significant value is much smaller than 0.05 is the one experimental group with the treatment of pair check method of the most effective pair check method compared with the time token and lecture method. Dalam penelitian ini yang dirandom adalah sekolah, sehingga diperoleh tiga sekolah untuk dijadikan sampel . Dua sekolah digunakan untuk kelas eksperimen dan yang satu digunakan untuk kelas kontrol.Penelitian ini mengunakan posstest only design dengan analisis varian satu jalan dilanjutkan dengan uji scheffe untuk mengetahui perbedaan dari kelompok-kelompok tersebut. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Prestasi belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan metode pair checktermasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai mean 82,83 dan standar deviasi 6,029. (2) Prestasi belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan metode time tokentermasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai mean 82,5dan standar deviasi 7,340. (3) Prestasi belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan metode ceramah termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan memiliki nilai mean 74 dan standar deviasi 8,16. (4) Terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa anatara mengunakan metode pair check, metode time token dan metode ceramah dengan nilai F 13,356. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menujukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode pair check posstes yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikan (0,7754) > 0,05.
