Abstract :
The purposes of the research are: (1) knowing the implementation of moral education concept at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro, district Wonogiri in 2015/2016, (2) identifying the obstacles in applying the moral education concept at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro, district Wonogiri in 2015/2016, (3) finding out the solutions to overcome the obstacles in implementing the moral education concept at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro, district Wonogiri in 2015/2016. The research was conducted at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro, district Wonogiri in 2015/2016. It applied qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection was done through some methods. They were: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, and (3) Documentation. The research subjects were religion teachers, civic education teachers and counseling teacher, where as the informants were the principal, the vice principal of curriculum and academic students and school committees. The techniques of data analysis used validity of data through triangulation of sources and methods. Results of the research are as follows: (1) The implementation of moral education concept at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro is done by planning, applying and evaluating the integration of the moral education into all subjects. (2) The obstacles in applying moral education concept at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro are caused by two factors. They are: internal and external factors. (3) Solutions to overcome the obstales in implementing the moral education concept at SMK Gajah Mungkur 1 Wuryantoro are done by improving and increasing effective extracurricular activities, enhancing the coordination between society and students parents as well as monitoring the students’ activities.
