Abstract :
Key Words : Jigsaw, Reading Comprehension, Experimental Study The aims of this research is to find out, there is a significant difference of jigsaw technique to teach reading comprehension at eighth grade students of MTs N Gondang in academic year 2016/2017. The design in this research was quasi-experimental. The population of this research was the eighth grade students of MTs N Gondang in academic year 2015/2016. From the whole population, two classes were taken as the sample where each class consists of 32 students. The samples were 8C as experimental group and 8B as control group. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The technique of collecting the data was reading comprehension test and the form of the test an objective test in a multiple choices type. In analyzing data, the researcher used descriptive analysis (mean, mode, median and standard deviation), pre-requisite (normality and homogeneity) and hypothesis testing (independent T-test)
