Abstract :
Kota Bandung dikenal sebagai kota belanja, dengan mall dan factory outlet yang banyak tersebar di kota ini, dan saat ini berang surangsur kota Bandung juga menjadi kota wisata kuliner. Kota Bandung juga merupakan pusat segala kegiatan aktifitas baik ekonomi, perdagangan, jasa dan industri serta menjadi pusat interland wilayah Jawa Barat. Selain itu, Kota Bandung dapat berperan langsung dalam lingkup international. Semakin bertambahnya kebutuhan akan jasa pariwisata, jumlah penginapan hotel pun harus berbanding lurus dengan pertumbuhan penduduk di wilayah tersebut. Kota Bandung saat ini membutuhkan dibangunnya hotel baru, khususnya hotel berbintang. Sebagai suatu sarana akomodasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan bisnis dalam hal tempat menginap yang juga dilengkapi dengan fasilitas penunjang kegiatan berbisnis seperti ruang pertemuan. Selain itu hotel juga tidak menutup kemungkinan sebagai tempat menginapnya wisatawan yang memiliki tujuan utama berekreasi di Kota Bandung dan sekitarnya., Tema Arsitektur kontemporer dengan konsep efisiensi ruang atau smart living dinilai sangat cocok diterapkan pada proyek ini. --- Bandung is known as a shopping city, with many malls and factory outlets scattered in this city, and currently the city of Bandung is also a culinary tourism city. Bandung is also the center of all activities, both economic, trade, service and industrial activities as well as being the center of the interland region of Jawa Barat. In addition, Bandung can play a direct role in the international arena. The increasing need for tourism services, the number of hotel accommodations must be directly proportional to the population growth in the region. Bandung currently requires the construction of new hotels, especially star-rated hotels. As a means of accommodation to meet the needs of business travelers in terms of places to stay that are also equipped with supporting facilities for business activities such as meeting rooms. In addition, the hotel also does not rule out the possibility of staying as tourists who have the main purpose of recreation in Bandung and its surroundings. The theme of contemporary architecture with the concept of efficiency or smart living is considered very suitable to be applied to this project.
