Abstract :
The aim of this study was to describe English teaching and learning process at Neutron Purwokerto. This was a descriptive qualitative study in which the data were taken from interview, observation, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis were data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Based on the result of the study, the study found out that English teaching and learning process at Neutron Purwokerto was effective teaching and learning activity. The students were able to speak English as the teaching goal of Neutron. The facilities which were provided by the institution were able to encourage and help English teaching and learning process. The result showed that the English teaching and learning process is ran well, the institution did not prepare the syllabus, it was because the English tutor followed the material given by the school. When the students needed the English tutor?s help, everytime the English tutor was ready. The strategy used Penalaran, it mean the English tutor gave the base concept. The English tutor always held the evaluation every week.
