Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, firm size, independent commissioners, institutional ownership in predicting financial conditions.financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2017-2021 period. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2017-2021 period. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling the final data obtained 731 samples. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 24 test tool by testing descriptive statistics, and logistic regression analysis. The results of this study state that the profitability variable can predict conditionsfinancial distress. While the variables of liquidity, company size, independent commissioners, and institutional ownership cannot predict conditions financial distress..
