Abstract :
Financial performance by using profitability ratio that are proxied as Return on Assets (ROA) shows an increase in profits expected by the bank so that it can meet the costs incurred by the bank. Financial performance becomes very important because by reflecting good financial performance, the bank can obtain the expected benefits. This study aims to determine the effect of the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), net stable funding ratio (NSFR), capital adequacy ratio (CAR), and operating expenses on operating income (BOPO) on financial performance (ROA). The population of this study are companies in the banking sector in ASEAN in 2013-2017, the criteria used in this study are banking companies in ASEAN in 2013-2017 which are listed in stock exchange, banking sector companies that publish financial statements using international languages, banking companies conventional, banking companies in ASEAN that publish audited financial reports from 2013-2017. The method in this study uses secondary data and there are 535 samples. Data analysis using SPSS version 23.0 software and data analysis techniques to test hypotheses using multiple linear regression. The results of this study describe that the net stable funding ratio (NSFR) and operating expenses on operating income (BOPO) affect financial performance (ROA), while the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) do not affect financial performance (ROA).
