Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to find out and explain the Clearance procedures for tankers at the special port of PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental and to find out the relevant agencies in ship agency operations at the port. process of ship arrival and ship departure by PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental. The method used for data collection is the method of observation or observation, interviews or interviews, literature study and documentation. From the results of the research that the level of speed and accuracy of Shipping Agents in serving the needs of ships is greatly influenced by environmental factors both micro and macro environment, therefore intensive coordination and cooperation within the shipping company itself and with related agencies must be well established so that service quality services provided by shipping agents can satisfy the users of agency services. In carrying out shipping agency services in terms of handling arrivals, managing the needs of ships and crew, departure and departure of ships must be carried out properly in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations and what is usually done by agents pertamina transcontinental
