Abstract :
Bottom ash, also known as coal ash, is a waste product generated from the combustion of coal in power plants. It consists of heavier and larger particles compared to fly ash. The ash or coal waste is then transported to an ash disposal site and accumulates in large quantities at the power plant location. The testing method used in the utilization of bottom ash is as a replacement for sand with percentages of 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%, along with the addition of concrete mix additives. In this testing, concrete mixtures are prepared following the SNI 7656:2012 method, and the concrete is cured for 7, 28, and 56 days. Subsequently, compressive strength testing is conducted to determine the quality of the concrete obtained from these tests. The test results showed the highest compressive strength value of 31.24 MPa with a 50% BM+BA (Bottom Ash) variation at 56 days of age. This testing indicates that the 50% BM+BA variation exhibits good compressive strength compared to variations of 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% BM+BA
