Abstract :
Delicious bitter melon chips is a new product innovation from raw material for bitter melon. This final project aims to determine a marketing strategy, to find out the obstacles faced and the right solutions to overcome them. This final project is implemented in 4 (four) methods, namely project preparation plan, project implementation plan, project completion plan, and project reporting plan. The result of the implementation of this final project is that the market segmentation used is geographical segmentation, namely the people of Bukit Batu and Bengkalis districts. Demographic segmentation targets all types of circles and all genders. Psychographic segmentation focuses on consumers who like to enjoy snacks or snacks that are delicious. Targetting, various groups and genders who like chips made from bitter melon. Positoning, produce and maintain products with crispy and savory taste. The obstacles faced were that at the beginning of the sale there were difficulties in marketing the product due to the Covid-19 condition and because it was a new product so that consumers were hesitant to buy. The solution to the obstacles faced in conducting the marketing process by delivery order and for consumers who are hesitant to buy is to provide the opportunity for consumers to taste the product first.
