Abstract :
The deaf and mute communication process can be understood well because they are used to using Leap Motion everyday. However, some normal people will find it difficult to understand the sign language conveyed by the deaf, and vice versa, the deaf will have difficulty understanding the language conveyed by normal people. So the SIBI Letter Aid for Deaf or Speech-Deaf Children was made using Leap Motion with the help of NetBeans software using the Java language. Leap Motion is a tool to detect the coordinates of the hand position in 3D (X, Y, Z), so that it can be used as input data for computer application processing. The results of this application have been tested for accuracy from letters of the alphabet to sounds and images with an average of 67.30% and an error of 32.70%.
