Abstract :
The road pavement thickness design is identical by using method that approved by the agency cope according to the expertise. There?s thing that always happen in the field, that is the design of road pavement thickness using calculation analysis that used by previous planning
consultant, so a new analysis is needed to compare the results of the plan document that issued by previous planning consultant with the design manual of road pavement thickness in terms of pavement thickness, BOQ, and the effectiveness from both methods. The method that used in this research is the manual design of road pavement thickness 2017, this method is the method that used for designing the flexible pavement. The results obtained are the road pavement thickness and BOQ in manual design of road
pavement thickness 2017 and the plan document each 675 mm and 700 mm, Rp. 15.792.236.045,57 and Rp. 12.285.316.383,61. Usage or service period that obtained based from component analysis 1987 is 12 years, while the service period for flexible pavement that appointed in MDPJ is 20 years, this implicates the service period on the flexible pavement is 8 years earlier compare to MDPJ.
