Abstract :
This research aims to apply a decision support system (SPK) in determining a single tuition fee relief (UKT) using the Oreste method at the Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. UKT is an important factor in financing higher education which is often an obstacle for students who are less well off financially. In an effort to overcome this problem, the SPK is used to provide objective and fair recommendations in determining UKT relief. This research involves collecting student data which is a criterion in determining UKT relief. The data is then analyzed using the Oreste method to produce accurate and transparent recommendations. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of a more effective and efficient UKT relief determination policy at the Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. The results of this research show that the accuracy of the Oreste method in the decision support system for determining single tuition waivers is 94%.
