Abstract :
State Polytechnic of Bengkalis (Polbeng) is the only state polytechnic in Riau Province which is consists of eight departments. One of them is Language Department. In order to inform society about this department, the main purpose of this final project was to make an Informational Book about the Language Department of State Polytechnic of Bengkalis. The method of this study was classified into the descriptive method. There were several steps in making this informational book such as gathering the information, taking pictures, designing the book, and the last was printing the book. The informational book consists of explanations about two study programs in Language Department; D-III English Study Program, and D-IV English for Business and Professional Communication. Besides, it also covers the information about curriculum, teaching staff, student activities, achievements, and testimony from alumni with a total of page 44. Based on the evaluation result, it showed that the book was good, interesting, and informative to introduce Language Department to the public and being a guide for the students of the Language Department.
