Abstract :
Used oil is a type of waste that has not yet been optimized for use as fuel. Used oil can be recycled and is typically used as a lubricant for motorcycle chains. This study conducted several tests to determine the combustion efficiency to achieve a blue flame and assess the performance of the stove in the pyrolysis device. The highest heat transfer rate occurred during the 15th minute of testing, with a heat transfer rate of 1.509,084 W, an overall heat transfer coefficient of 45 W/m².°C, a cross-sectional area of 0.1256 m², and an average temperature difference of 267°C. The highest conductive heat transfer rate also occurred during the 15th minute of testing, with a Qk value of 2.032,233 W/m², a thermal conductivity of the material of -60.6 W/m².°C, and a cross-sectional area of 0.1256 m².
