Abstract :
This research aims to develop a recommendation system for selecting vocational majors in Bengkalis City by applying the content-based filtering method to develop a recommendation system for selecting majors at SMK Bengkalis City. This system uses machine learning to analyze students' interests,talents, and abilities to provide recommendations for appropriate majors. By using the Random Forest Classifier algorithm, the system can customize individual student preferences. The test results show that this system helps students in making better major selection decisions. It is hoped that this system will make a positive contribution to the world of education in Bengkalis City.
