Abstract :
Regional Original Income (PAD) is a source of regional income which hasan important role in regional development.Tourism in the current era of globalization is a sector that has a strategic role in supporting national economic development which is expected to be able to provide increased income through state foreign exchange earnings. The type of research used in this research is description with a qualitative approach, namely describing the condition of the subject and object, whether a person, institution, society and so on and is based on the results of observations and in-depth interviews conducted by the researcher and providing arguments regarding what was found in the field and connected to operational concepts and regulations that are related to the problem under study.In this research, descriptive research methods were used using a qualitative approach. Descriptive research aims to systematically and accurately describe the facts being studied. So it can be concluded that the efforts made by the Department of Youth, Sports, Tourism and Culture of Serdang Bedagai Regency show a commitment to optimizing the potential of tourism as a source of income.
