Abstract :
Control valves are crucial components in industrial systems, particularly at PT. IKPP Perawang, serving to regulate fluid flow within the production process. Inaccuracies in valve calibration can lead to operational disruptions, decreased efficiency, and potential financial losses. Therefore, evaluating the effectiveness of the control valve calibration process is essential to ensure smooth operations. This study employs a quantitative approach, where operational data before and after control valve calibration are collected and analyzed. Calibration was performed periodically using verified standard calibration devices. The analysis aimed to measure the precision and efficiency of the valves post-calibration and their impact on the overall system performance. The study results indicate that regular calibration of control valves at PT. IKPP Perawang increased operational efficiency. Additionally, system reliability improved, as evidenced by a reduction in operational disruptions. This demonstrates that an effective control valve calibration process has a significant impact on enhancing industrial system performance.
